As a Non-Profit, all CBM Missionaries serve full-time only through raising their own idividual financial support. As they spread awareness of the mission of CB it is through the beautiful generosity of churches and individuals that financially give toward their life's service. Richard Albury
Founder & Director
Richard Albury was born a Bahamian! He founded CB Missions back in 1999 after pursuing a Masters in Youth Ministry from Liberty University. This began as an incredible burden to see Jesus impact his home country. Because God had transformed his heart, he answered the call to bring that same transformation to the youngest generation of Bahamians. His desire is to welcome others to partner with the work God is doing in the island of Eleuthera and beyond! He knows Jesus is the solution for the greatest need of every human heart!
Andrea Albury
Founder & Director
Andrea Albury grew up with a passion for discipling girls on their faith journey. She began mentoring youg girls as a teenager. She moved from Texas to Liberty University to study Adolescent Psychology, where she met and married Richard. She was eager to join his calling to spread the Gospel in his homeland. Since 1999, it has been the privilege of her lifetime to serve, love and bring hope to Bahamian youth. She is a mom to 6!
Jono Maura
Office Manager
Jonathan Maura is from Nassau. He experienced a summer camp program as a teenager at CB. From that moment, God began stirring in his heart a burden to reach Bahamian youth with the Gospel. He spent several years serving youth in Nassau, before joining CB Missions as the official Facilities Manager in 2016. He uses his many gifts to make CB a better place so that ministry can continue to impact Bahamian youth.
Alexa Albury Sands
CB Admin & Discipleship Coordinator
Alexa Sands was raised at CB Missions! She answered God's personal calling on her life when she became the Discipleship Coordinator and Admin in 2018. Her heartbeat is for Bahamian girls to know Jesus for themselves. She loves serving together with Mission teams to spread the freedom that comes with life in Christ!
Branden Sands
Grounds & Aquatics Manager
Branden Sands is from Abaco. He experienced the Gospel through a summer program at CB Missions when he was 13. He was discipled throughout his teenage years through CB, growing in His faith and eventually sensing the call to help other Bahamians experience what he did. He has a passion for the young Bahamians that are impacted each year through CB Missions. He also uses his experience as a Competitive Sailor in operating a sailing ministry,
SWSS with his wife Alexa.

Rod Straw
Part time CBM Missionary
Rod Straw is from Pennsylvania. He & his wife Lynne met Richard during their college years at Liberty University. His family has served in missions at CBM countless times in the over 20 years. He leads the famous Rod Squad & if you have served alongside him, your life has been changed.
